When it comes to traveling, I’m not the best packer. I need to make lists upon lists to make sure I’m not over-packing, you know? Which is why I’m sharing the ultimate travel packing list.
Andrew and I are heading to Thunder Bay for a little over two weeks. For those of you who don’t know, he is from there and majority of his family lives there. We like to visit once or twice a year, and since Covid happened, we haven’t been able to get over there. So, we’re doing one nice, long trip over there. So, I kind of need to pack wisely.
I can EASILY over-pack for any type of vacation. I bring 8 different bathing suits for a 4 day vacation, full-size bottles of skincare products for a weekend getaway, and ALL the shoes I can fit in my carry-on. LOL.
Let’s say I’m not the most efficient packer. However, I’ve gotten really good at making lists, and down-sizing my packing in the last couple of years. Now I refer to my lists, and cross out things that are not needed. No one needs to take full size skincare products when they travel, ever. You get really cute clear bottles on Amazon, that make much more sense.
So, I thought I would share my travel packing list with you guys. We’re getting very specific here – these are things I can’t go a week without.
THE ULTIMATE TRAVEL LIST:

{ Specific Sleep Stuff }
These are some majors that are 100% on my travel packing list. I could be camping in the freakin woods and I’ll still somehow make sure I have my sound machine with me.
Obviously the book I added is one that I’m currently reading.
Also, I’m obsessed with my Lusomé nighties! They are the softest little dresses for bed. They hug your body in all the right ways, and the straps don’t hurt while sleeping. SO GOOD.
{ Specific Skincare Products }

♡ VICTORIA RADFORD EYE & FACE MASKS
♡ VICTORIA RADFORD MOISTURIZER – this is my day cream.
♡ IT COSMETICS BEAUTY SLEEP MOISTURIZER – my night cream.
I feel like none of these really need an explanation. If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while, then these products should be familiar to you already.
I’ve been using that Tula cleanser for sometime now, and I find that it’s amazing to take ALL your make-up off. No need to scrub any harder. It’s really that good.

I also LOVE the Glopro microneedler every other (ish) day. I just find that my skin absorbs skincare products so much more when I do a bit of microneedling before hand.
Read the full post on Everything you need to know about microneedling here.
And yes, I use a day and night cream. The textures between the two are totally different. My daytime cream is a lot lighter than my nighttime one. Call me what you want, but skincare is everything to me.

♡ VICTORIA RADFORD GEL EYE LINER
***Get the Radford X Chic bundle which includes BOTH, Tint & Gel Liner PLUS 2 free 24K eye & face masks! Grab it here!
♡ VICTORIA RADFORD ROSE GOLD BLUSH
♡ CHARLOTTE TILBURY PILLOW TALK LIPSTICK
Again, no explanation needed here. These are the ride-or-dies of my beauty products and are definitely on my travel packing list. I never ever go anywhere without Tint. It’s the holy grail of tinted moisturizers, really.
Also obsessed with the CT Bronzer, and Hourglass concealer and mascara. These are newer products, but I’ve been loving them!

{ Random Shit }

♡ VITAL PROTEINS COLLAGEN POWDER
♡ DESIGN.ME VOLUMIZING HAIR POWDER/DRY SHAMPOO
♡ FAVOURITE WHITE HOODIE. (It’s men’s)
Okay – I’ve been taking Vital Proteins Collagen Powder in my coffee every morning, and it’s a total gamechanger. I bought it for hair, skin, and nail health, and mannnn have I noticed a difference! 100% recommend!
Love a clear fanny pack when traveling. You never know when you’ll need one. LOL. I’m so over carrying a big purse around. I just grab my basics and throw them in this very chic fanny.
Oh, and let me tell you about this hoodie. I have a few! They are super comfy for travelling because they are oversized. Especially when travelling during Covid. You just don’t want to touch ANYTHING. An oversized, men’s hoodie is the way to travel!
So there you have it. The ultimate travel packing list. These are NON NEGOTIABLE items, lol.
Obviously this list doesn’t include the obvious stuff – toothbrush, clothing, shoes, etc.
Anyway, we’re about 2 days from leaving, and I haven’t started packing.
I’m off to see what else I can shove in Andrew’s suitcase. 😉
Xx, kim
