SKINCARE PRODUCTS I’M USING DURING PREGNANCY.

Okay, such a highly requested blog post! Let’s get into skincare products during pregnancy.

But let me first say – none of this is sponsored. I have researched, talked to many of you, and carefully chosen these products to use on my skin. I love them, and swear by all of them.

Of course, you should also do your own research and talk to your doctor before using any of these products.

Let’s get into it because I love this list!

SKINCARE PRODUCTS I USED DURING PREGNANCY:

ELTA MD UV CLEAR BOARD SPECTRUM SPF 46 SUNSCREEN:

When it comes to skincare products during pregnancy, I do not mess around. I have been loving this sunscreen! So many of you on Instagram recommended this one during pregnancy (and post) and I’m so glad I went with this one. It’s non-greasy, doesn’t leave a white film on your face, feels like a true moisturizer, doesn’t irritate my skin, and has good ingredients, of course.

I went with the EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46. It’s free of parabens, fragrances, and oils, and is vegan, noncomedogenic, and doesn’t leave a residue on the skin.

The main ingredients are Zinc Oxide, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin E. They have also won several awards.

So far, I am loving it.

FIRST AID BEAUTY PURE SKIN FACE CLEANSER:

First Aid Beauty products are SUCH winners in my opinion. They are amazing skincare products during pregnancy. I used most of their products during my first pregnancy, and I swear my “pregnancy glow” was related to the First Aid Beauty products I was using. LOL. This cleanser is such a favourite of mine.

It’s nice and gentle, but takes everything off your face. Mascara and all! (Not sure about waterproof mascara because I never use that). It’s a clean beauty product at Sephora and the main ingredients are Aloe, which calms and soothes sensitive skin, and Allantoin and Glycerin which hydrate the skin. I never ever feel a dry, tightness when using this cleanser.

CAUDALIE VINOPERFECT RADIANCE SERUM:

Okay, can we please talk about this serum?!! It’s one of the BEST serums I’ve ever used on my skin. I immediately noticed a brightness after about a week of using it. Actually, even Andrew noticed it! He said something along the lines of “babe your skin is looking very glossy” LOL. Glossy = glowy. I’m going with that.

It’s vegan, oil-free and great for uneven skin tones and dark spots. It’s great to use during pregnancy as well because it’s a clean beauty product.

Main ingredients are:

  • Patented Vine Sap-Derived Viniferine: An ingredient 62 times more effective than vitamin C that visibly brightens, diminishes dark spots, and evens skin tone.
  • Olive Squalane: Delivers non-greasy hydration and moisture.
  • Biomimetic Emulsifier: Enhances Viniferine’s visibly brightening efficacy.

I have gone through about 4 bottles already. It’s on the pricier side, but well worth the money!

VINOPERFECT DARK CIRCLE BRIGHTENING EYE CREAM WITH NIACINAMIDE:

And speaking of Caudalie, this Eye Cream is also amazing. The thing about eye creams are that they almost never do what they say they do! But this one is amazing. I have noticed a slight difference in my under eyes.

Eye creams usually say they brighten dark circles, and to be VERY honest, they don’t. Don’t buy an eye cream to get rid of dark circles. The only thing that can “get rid” of dark circles is a really good concealer. LOL.

But, if you’re looking for hydration under the eyes, which minimizes crow’s feet, then yes, eye creams can do that. And I’ve found that this eye cream in particular has been great and one of the better skincare products during pregnancy.

FIRST AID BEAUTY ULTRA REPAIR CREAM:

Okay, let’s jump into my favourite moisturizer of ALL TIME!! The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is the best of the best. I usually grab the biggest bottle I can find at Sephora and it lasts me forever. It’s a buttery, whipped, gorgeous formula that makes your skin absolutely glow.

The main ingredient is Colloidal Oatmeal which if you have sensitive skin, is great for. I don’t have sensitive skin, but I find this is such a good cream if you have combination skin. (Somewhere in the middle of dry and oily skin).

Honestly, I don’t have much else to say about it other than it’s one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. I’ve been using this now for both pregnancies and it’s going to be something I continue to use. I use it morning and night.

VICTORIA RADFORD EYE PATCHES:

Lastly, let’s talk about the Radford Eye Patches!! Again, anything eye related isn’t going to completely get rid of your dark circles. Actually, Victoria Radford was the one who told me that herself. But she did create these gorgeous eye patches to help with puffiness, hydration, and tiredness.

In her words “these eyes patches will help with skin texture, revitalize dullness, and bring you happiness”.

And I can truly say that these do all of the above. I wear them daily (most mornings) while I have my coffee and I truly feel awake once I take them off. It’s a great self-care moment that I take very seriously after I drop Lemon off to daycare.

The best part is they do not slip off the eye like most other eye masks do. I love the formula, and it’s super cooling. Such a good skincare products during pregnancy.

HOT TIP: Put these in the fridge for an extra cooling effect. You will notice a huge difference.

There you have it. I like to call this the master list of skincare products during pregnancy. Because you really don’t need much more than these.

Okay, have you guys used/tried any of these products? What do you think? Tell me in the comments.

Xx,

Kim
