5 PRODUCTS FOR AN EVERYDAY MAKE-UP LOOK.

5 PRODUCTS FOR AN EVERYDAY MAKE-UP LOOK

Since quarantine began, I feel like I’ve worn zero make-up! I mean, why would I? Other than small at-home blog shoots I’ve basically had a no make-up routine, and definitely up’ed my skincare game.

I’ve had SO much more time for eye masks, face masks, and even hair masks. It’s been amazing, and my skin has never looked better.

However, now that we’re slowly loosening up on things and are able to get back out again, I feel like I need to share my basic make-up essentials.

I shared 5 products of my make-up routine on Instagram Stories when I was at our Niagara-On-The-Lake cottage a few weeks ago, and many of you had questions, and LOVED that I shared that.

So, of course, I thought I would break them down even further in a blog post.

These 5 products are basically what I slap on my face when I’m having a blah day, and need a little pick me up. You know, a little make-up can always make you feel put together.

I also find that I’m slightly more productive when I’ve got a little something on my face. Nothing major, just a few good products that give me that glow.

Also, I want to mention that the two Victoria Radford products shared here are part of a Radford X Chic Confidential Collaboration and you can get them in a bundle! For $79.00 you get Tint, a Gel Eye Liner of your choice, and two 24K Eye and Face masks. I have linked the bundle below if you want to grab it.

Okay, let’s get into the 5 products for an everyday make-up routine.

TINT Daily Skin Perfector by Victoria Radford 5 PRODUCTS FOR AN EVERYDAY MAKE-UP LOOK

TINT Daily Skin Perfector by Victoria Radford

Tinted Moisturizer

I always, always start with TINT. This product has been my go-to for SO LONG now! Guys, it’s a tinted moisturizer that makes your skin look flawless. It’s less coverage than a foundation, but gives you the most amazing skin texture and dewiness.

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you already know that TINT is a part of my make-up routine. It’s also got SPF20 in there, so you don’t need to worry about applying sunscreen under it.

How to use:
I personally apply this with my fingers because I’m 99% of the time, in a rush. However, it goes on gorgeously with a beauty blender or a brush. A little goes a long way too!

Make-up Mineral Powder Foundation - Nude By Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation

Nude By Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation

Mineral Powder Foundation

OMG – I have used every single setting power under the sun, and this is by far the best one I’ve used. I’ve been using this one for about 3 years now, and I love itttt. I actually cannot say enough great things about this one.

It’s a light powder that gives you the most flawless finish, covering up any blemishes you may have. It covers up any redness or pigmentation that you may have, and conceals enlarged pores.

ALSO!! It’s made of really good ingredients like Jojoba Esters, Kakadu Plum, and Kaolin Clay which are great for softening skin, anti-ageing, and absorbing excess oils on the skin.

It’s my favourite, hands down! GRAB IT HERE.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer - Matte Bronzer

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer

Matte Bronzer

Okay, let’s talk about this bronzer, because WOW. It was recently gifted to my by the CT team, and I’ve been using it for a few months now, and I can’t seem to use any of my other bronzers anymore. LOL.

This one gives you the prettiest glow! It’s warm bronzer that doesn’t give you that nasty orange-y tone and it’s infused with hyaluronic acid, which is great for hydration. You aren’t felt feeling flakey and dry!

I’ve worn this pretty much everyday since I got it. I know it’s a bit pricey, but I find that it’s totally worth it. ALSO, it’s HUGE! LOL. Like size-wise, it’s very big.

GRAB IT HERE.

GEL Eye Liner by Victoria Radford

GEL Eye Liner by Victoria Radford

Long-wearing liner

I love this eye liner for SO many reasons. It’s been part of my simple make-up routine for a while now.

  1. It’s super soft and smooth, so you don’t need to worry about making any mistakes with it.
  2. It can be used as an eye liner OR an eyeshadow by smudging it in your eyelid crease. It’s super easy to use.
  3. Pyrite, being my favourite colours goes with every single eye colour. It just gives you the perfect smoked-out look and your eyes just POP.

How to use it:
Glide along your upper and lower lashes. If you want more of a smokey-eye, use your pinky to smudge it out.

Hourglass Caution Mascara

Extreme Lash Mascara

A WINNER in the mascara department! Like, WOWWW hugest lashes of all time. I don’t even think this needs more of an explanation!

I love the brush on this mascara, and how well it coats the lashes without clumping. It also gives you that fanned out lash look, which is my favourite. I also like that it doesn’t smudge or flake after a while of wearing it. Definitely adds the GLAM to your make-up look.

I also think for the price, it’s SO good!!

Okay guys, those are the products I’ve been using and absolutely loving for my simple make-up routine these days! I feel so put together when I have these on my face. It really is the bare minimum.

As mentioned earlier, if you want to grab the Radford X Chic bundle, I’ve linked it below. I basically picked my two favourite Radford products, and we created a bundle for you guys which include the complimentary 24K face & eye masks.

These masks are my weekend self-care ritual. When I have these on, Andrew is NOT to disturb me. I have a cup of coffee, my journal, and silence. 🙂

Okay, what make-up products have you guys been dabbling in? Please share, you know I always like to try new things!

Xx, kim
