Hi hi! Let’s move onto our second family-friendly resort that we stayed at in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Buenaventura Grand!
Buenaventura Grand had different vibes from our previous resort. It is breathtakingly beautiful, modern, and right in the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta. We have been to Puerto Vallarta before and have stayed downtown, and LOVED IT. It’s our favourite part of town. The hustle and bustle is super fun, the people are so friendly, and there are some amazing tacos stands walking distance from the hotel.
The Buenaventura Grand is a beautiful all-inclusive, family-friendly resort located in the heart of downtown, Puerto Vallarta. It offers a great mix of luxury and comfort, with a wide range of amenities.

One of the main attractions of the Buenaventura Grand is its beachfront location. The resort sits on a stretch of golden sand, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, providing stunning views and easy access to the beach. You can lounge on the beach chairs or swim in the ocean. We did a bit of both.
The resort features several swimming pools, including an infinity pool with a swim-up bar and a separate kids’ pool, which makes it the perfect family-friendly resort. There are also multiple on-site restaurants, serving a variety of cuisines from Mexican to Italian to Asian. The food was incredible. Many of you asked what Lemon ate while we were on vacation. She ate everything we did, and we also had her formula with us as well. But at this point, she was fully eating solids. It’s important for us to give her a variety of foods for her to try. She loved the guac, tacos, fresh fruit every morning, and custom omelettes.

Our room was beautiful! We had a jacuzzi with an oceanview and a king bed. The balcony also faced the ocean and was gorgeous to sit out on. The hotel also provided us with a crib for Lemon, which was fantastic.
If you’re looking for something luxurious and relaxing, but also kid-friendly, this all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta is the perfect choice. We loved the service, the staff, the food, and the location of the resort.
And if you’re looking for authentic Mexican taco stands, you won’t have to look far. Just ask the locals and they will point in you in the right direction. There are so many hidden stands just off the main road. Andrew and I handed Lems off to my parents one afternoon and hit up about 6 tacos stands. They were UNREAL.
This hotel is also super close to the Malecon Boardwalk, which is a pedestrian-only boardwalk. It goes on for 12 blocks and has tons of cool oceanfront restaurants, tequila bars, and street food vendors. You can even enjoy a margarita while taking in the breathtaking ocean views.
Also!! If you stay at the Villa Premiere, the adults only hotel that we’ve stayed at before (pre-baby), you actually have access to areas and restaurants at Buenaventura Grand. They are right beside each other, and omg Villa Premiere is one of the most gorgeous resorts we’ve ever stayed at.

Overall, the resort is one for the books. Book the Buenaventura Grand if you’re looking for the perfect family-friendly resort. And if you haven’t been to Puerto Vallarta, add it to your list. It’s such a gorgeous city in Mexico and whether you are a couple or a family, it’s the perfect getaway. Drop your questions about the resort below!
