Sorry I have been a neglecting you guys, but long weekends are a thing and I truly wish to enjoy mine. Which also means switching off (not completely) from The Chic Confidential as well.
Did everyone have an amazing Easter? I hope so!
Mine was filled with amazing food, wine, anddddd coffee!! I’m finally back at it. That actually seemed like the longest Lent of life. Haha. I realized life is nothing without a good cup of coffee. Amiright?? —Yea, I think so.
What was everyone up to for their Easter? What did ya’ll eat, drink, do? Share in the comments!
Okay, let’s get to the fun part.
Uhhh, I know!! Is it not the most amazing coat you’ve ever seen? When it came walking down the runway a couple weeks ago at Toronto Fashion Week, I kinda died for it. It’s the perfect Spring coat. I know it seems like it’s heavy and more for Fall, but it’s actually very light, and with the kinda Spring we’re having, I can definitely rock this for another few weeks. Yessss!
So, many of you were snapping me/ commenting on the coat. It’s Canadian made by Marisa Minicucci of Sosken Studios. They had SO MANY amazing coats in their Fall/Winter 16 collection. I was drooling at everything.
If you were following my on Snapchat, you already know this! (UN: kim-marquis)
This particular coat I’m wearing is the Bailey in Blue Plaid.
I’m totally obsessed with the colour and texture of this coat. It’s very me. Not something you typically wear everyday. It HAS to be styled in the chicest way possible.
It’s super oversized, which I love. Oversized anything is kinda everything these days. Dresses, pants, even sunnies.
BTW, guys HATE the oversized look. So, if you’re going out on date night and trying to be sexy for your man, don’t do it unless he GETS fashion. Plus, your fashionable girlfriends will appreciate this kinda look MUCH more.
Men: Do you hate it/love it? Weigh in!
Okay, I’m off to have yet ANOTHER cup of coffee. See, now I can’t stop…
