My Top 5 Beauty Secrets.

We aren’t getting any younger. I mean, turning 28 was a very difficult time for me…

I know some of you are rolling your eyes thinking, calm down, darling, you’re still so young. And as much as I feel young at heart, (sometimes) I have always been one whose afraid of aging. Yes, I know, we are all going to get there at some point, but I like to keep my skin looking as young and fresh as possible. I don’t see why I would just let it age without a fight. You know?

I have put together some of my top beauty secrets below. I do have many, however, I have narrowed it down to the best of the best.

1. BB Seaweed Face Mask:

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love these Lush masks! I’m all for natural stuff, and I even make some of my own face masks at home. This seaweed mask does wonders for my skin. We put so much make up on our faces during the day for work, events, etc. that we need to just eliminate the chemicals and go au natural whenever we can! This jar contains seven pounds of seaweed, crushed almonds for exfoliating, aloe vera, rose absolute, honey, and olive oil. It doesn’t get more natural than that! When I’m finished with this mask, it leaves my skin feeling extremely smooth, moisturized, and even looking a little brighter.
You would think something this amazing would cost you a fortune. Nope! Only $6.95. You have got to try it out!
2. Virgin Coconut Oil:

Not just any coconut oil…Virgin Coconut Oil. You can use it in or on, literally anything! I have never seen an oil so versatile. Lets begin with how amazing it is in your hair. For all you ladies who bleach out your hair, coconut oil should be your best friend! It is an instant moisturizer. Apply it on the ends, or massage it into your scalp, leave on for about 30-45 minutes, and wash out with shampoo and conditioner for the most amazingly soft and lustrous hair! Trust me ladies, this works! Don’t spend hundreds of dollars on big name brands.
Okay now for the face and body. You can make a DIY body scrub with coconut oil and seriously leave your skin feeling the softest you will ever feel! You’re welcome. It also acts as a great make up remover for those really annoying waterproof mascaras. And lastly, shave with it! Shave your legs, armpits, whatever! It eliminates using any unneeded chemicals.
Last but not least, you can cook with it! I’m not going to spend too much time talking about this, because it’s a beauty blog. But nonetheless, use it in your food. It’s the healthiest oil out there!
3. Rosebud Salve:

This lip balm/ moisturizer/ life saver is quite amazing. A friend recently introduced it into my life, and it’s something she says she cannot live without. Made from Cotton Seed oil and Aromol, blended with essential oils, this is something you might want to have in your purse at all times. It’s the perfect lip balm and basically amazing for all dry skin. You can put it on cracked elbows, knees, ankles etc. It also takes care of break outs if needed! You can pick this gem up from Sephora for only $7.50.
4. Hydrate your skin with H2O.

I know this seems like the most obvious thing, but there are so many of us, including myself, that don’t drink enough water! I mention infusing your water in my last post for those who get bored of the regular taste of water. I love adding fruits, basil leaves, or mint leaves into my water for that fresh taste. Just adding lemon does amazing things for your skin. Lemons are packed with Vitamins B, C, calcium, iron, magnesium, fibres, and more! Squeezing some into your water is helping your skin and body in ways you’ll never even know!
If you were to eliminate everything, and just do ONE thing to keep your skin young and fresh looking, it would be to drink water, and lots of it.

Again, another obvious one, but this one is probably my favourite. I mean, who doesn’t like to sleep? The math is very simple here. You don’t get enough sleep…you age. You get your 8-10 hours…you stay youthful! You decide.
I hope this was somewhat helpful to you guys! I always get asked how my skin stays so healthy, and although a lot of it is probably good genes, I like to think some of my beauty secrets are a part of my good skin. Let me know what you guys are using to keep the glow! I love hearing other peoples beauty tips and tricks.
