So, I’m about to change your lives with this one, guys!
PEACHES + MINT.
I cannot take credit for this seriously delicious combination. This goes out to my sister, who made me try this last week, and since then, I’ve been obsessed with this. I know what you’re thinking. Peaches and mint?! What the hell is so special about that?
I’m telling you now…you’re going to get hooked.
I have been swapping in all my snacks for this one. If you don’t already know this, I’m pretty much the snacking queen. I probably should do a post on all the amazing healthy (and unhealthy) snacks I devour everyday. Yes, I’m constantly eating.
Okay, lets get to this. I mean, there isn’t much to it. It LITERALLY is just chopped up mint, sprinkled over your chopped up peaches. I love getting my peaches from a Farmers’ Market. They are everywhere, so go out and support your local farmers. Plus, they are heavenly compared to the peaches you get at the grocery store.
So here it is:
– 2-3 chopped up, organic peaches.
– Fresh mint leaves, chopped up finely.
– (Optional) Real maple syrup. NOT Aunt Jemima…
Mix all that goodness up and you have yourself the most mouth-watering, bad-ass snack there is.
Benefits of peaches:
+ Has a shit ton of Vitamin C
+ Lowers your risk of Colorectal Cancer.
+ Reduces wrinkles and improves the overall health of your skin…YES, YES, YES!
+ The fiber, potassium, and vitamin C in peaches protects your heart health.
So there you have it! A snack that I have literally been obsessed with this past week. I will do a post on some of my favourite healthy snacks sometime soon!
